On a cold night in February of 2024, Leigha packed up their snacks and dice and left to drive to a friend’s house for their bi-weekly game of Dungeons and Dragons. However, unbeknownst to them, the game was rescheduled! So after checking the calendar, Leigha decided that since they already drove the 40 minutes down, they may as well meet up with friends at the local game shop.

On that same night, George decided to go out and paint miniature figures for the fun of it. And wouldn’t you know it, George decided to paint at the same local game shop.

After George offered Leigha a mini and some paints, as well as the pair serenading Leigha’s friend Seth with songs from Hazbin Hotel, George and Leigha exchanged Facebook information, became friends, and began chatting. They shared jokes, preferences, and stories about their lives.

About a month later, George invited Leigha over for homemade curry with his other partner, Lindsay. While finishing up the food, all three were joking around and bantering when George made an offhand comment about flirting. Leigha informed him “I’ve been flirting this whole time!” and George responded, as always, eloquently.

“I’m sorry, what?”

George then proceeded to blush (literally the cutest thing Lindsay and Leigha had ever seen and still talk about it to this day) and reconsider his entire life choices. He dished up dinner, and everyone migrated to the living room to watch some Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End together. At some point, Leigha ended up cuddled up next to George and was feeling very bold.

So they kissed him.

Leigha and George dated casually for a while, but after a few months, decided to make their relationship more serious. The pair have gone to camp upstate, visited Washington DC, spent a night in a tent at Knoebel’s, and have spent many a weekend binging shows together.

George and Leigha are both very excited to start this next chapter of their lives together, and extremely grateful that you are a part of it.

We’re aiming for the ceremony around 2 in the afternoon. Snacks to follow while photos are taken, and then food and dancing to be enjoyed by all.

The Reception will be catered by Harvey’s BBQ of Mount Joy. If you have any specific dietary requirements, please let us know while RSVP’ing and we’ll make sure you’ve got something special waiting for you.

While we won’t be providing a bartender at the reception, if you’d like to bring a six pack or bottle of wine to share, feel free.

Your presence is the best gift. If you’d like to contribute, bring a side dish or dessert to share for the reception!

Unfortunately, the venue isn’t very pet friendly, so pets will need to stay home (even Rora won’t be able to make it).

Kids are totally welcome! We’re planning on setting up some Lego tables and board games in quieter areas during the reception for those that would prefer to be able to hear either their own thoughts, or a conversation with another.

RSVP

We’re so delighted to have you join us!

Please respond by April 30th so that we can get an accurate headcount, and plan to bring your dancing shoes!
